Comparative Information

Users are able to access information that may allow comparisons between countries for a specific indicator. Information is not available for all indicators or for all countries. Because the information is, in most cases, administrative data and collected in a different manner in each Member State these comparisons should be treated with considerable caution and the user should pay careful attention to accompanying explanatory notes. Researchers undertaking the study on behalf of the European Commission have, where it is reasonable to do so, presented comparative information and provided explanations of these differences. When reusing data, users are advised to reproduce all explanatory notes as well. All relevant, but not comparable, national data collected during the study is presented to allow the user to have an overview of all data available.
